Post Code System Waste of State Money

Fianna Fáil Area Representative for Beaumont-Donaghmede Ward has called on
Government to abandon plans to introduce a new ‘Seven Digit’ Post Code System
for Ireland and stop the waste of tax payers money.
He stated,
Ireland is only a Country with over 6 Million People, wasting 16 Million Euro
on such a small Population is redundant. This Money could be easily allocated
to area’s that have been cut in recent Budgets, which could help restore
services to Respite Care, Mobility Allowance or 24,000 Discretionary Medical
Card lost last year.
This will
again safeguard the most vulnerable in society by restoring service such as
this.
