Budget 2013 - Most Vulnerable In Society Hit

Daryl Barron, Local Area Representative for Beaumont-Donaghmede Ward says the most vulnerable in society has been attacked again ! Child Benefit has been reduced by €10 which is devastating to people that are on low incomes which need this to survive this is a disgrace.

Another appalling decision of increasing the Student Fees by €250 for the next 3 years (until it reaches €3000). How dare this Government attack the next generation of student that will not be able to afford this at all. They are on there knees which almost certainly increase the drop out rates dramatically.

With The Majority of family's on the edge this Government has now introduced a 'Property Tax' Which is not the right time to do so, people can't afford this and will struggle to do so.

The Increase in Prescription charge for medical card holders to be increased from €0.50 to €1.50 per item which is scandalize for people that cant afford this.

This is not a hard Budget it is a ruthless Budget on the women and children of this Country. This Government has attacked the innocent and vulnerable again which will have a ripple affect on all homes around this country. This Government has failed miserably to protect which is an utter disgrace on the people of Ireland!!
